Preparing for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams is one of the most important milestones in a student’s academic life. With so many subjects, chapters, and practice sessions to complete, students often feel stressed and confused about where to begin. The solution is simple: follow a structured daily study plan that balances study, revision, practice, and relaxation.
Below is a proven daily routine designed to help students focus better, reduce exam stress, and perform well in exams.
Morning hours are the most productive. Waking up early gives students a calm environment to study without distractions. Start your day with a quick stretch or meditation to energize your mind.
Always begin with subjects or topics that you find difficult. Your brain is most active in the morning, making it easier to grasp tough concepts.
Studying continuously for long hours can make you tired and reduce concentration. Take a 5–10 minute break after every 45–60 minutes of study.
Regularly reviewing notes helps in long-term memory retention. It also reduces the burden of last-minute cramming.
Whether it’s Maths, Science, or Commerce subjects, practicing questions is the best way to master them.
This not only improves accuracy but also boosts confidence.
A proper lunch break helps students regain energy. Avoid junk food as it can make you sleepy. Instead, eat balanced meals like rice, vegetables, dal, or fruits.
Once you finish priority subjects, focus on other subjects. A balanced timetable ensures that you don’t ignore any subject.
Daily revision of important topics helps strengthen memory. Create a formula notebook or summary notes for quick revisions before exams.
Physical activity keeps your mind fresh and improves focus. Even a 20-minute walk or light yoga can do wonders.
A tired brain cannot focus. Sleep is as important as study. Ensure you get at least 7–8 hours of quality sleep.
