The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the much-awaited Class 10 and 12 board examination results for 2025 on May 13. Students across the country can now access their results via the official portals. Along with the results, CBSE has also released key information regarding supplementary exams, offering a second chance to students who couldn’t clear all subjects.
Total students registered: 23.85 lakh
Passed: 22.21 lakh
Pass percentage: 93.66%
Total students registered: 17.04 lakh
Passed: 14.96 lakh
Pass percentage: 88.39%
✨ Girls have once again outshined boys, and Southern regions like Kerala have emerged as top performers in both Class 10 and 12 exams.
CBSE has introduced supplementary (compartment) exams for students who couldn’t pass one or two subjects. This is a golden opportunity to improve scores without waiting an entire academic year.
Class 10: Students who failed in 1 or 2 subjects.
Class 12: Students who failed in only 1 subject.
Students failing in 3 or more subjects are not eligible for supplementary exams.
Class 12: All exams will be conducted on a single day.
Class 10: Exams will be held on multiple days depending on the subject.

Schools will register candidates online via the CBSE portal.
Applications must be submitted within the deadline, which will be notified by CBSE.
