The Kerala Plus One (Class 11) results can be a time of mixed emotions for students. While many are satisfied with their performance, others may feel their marks don't reflect their hard work. If you believe there's been a mistake in your evaluation, the Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala offers three important options: Revaluation, Photocopy, and Scrutiny.
Here’s a detailed guide on what they are and how to apply for each.
🔁 Revaluation: A full re-checking of your answer script. The evaluator reassesses your answers to see if any marks were missed or if there's any error in marking.
📄 Photocopy: You get a scanned copy of your evaluated answer sheet. This helps you understand how you were marked and whether a revaluation is needed.
✔️ Scrutiny: A re-check for calculation errors, uncorrected answers, or omissions. It's not a full revaluation, but it ensures the paper was properly checked and totaled.
Only students who have appeared for the Plus One (Higher Secondary) Examination under DHSE Kerala are eligible.
You can apply for one or more subjects.
Application should be submitted within the deadline announced by the board.
Application Start Date: 1–2 days after the result declaration
Last Date to Apply: Usually within 5–7 days after the result
Revaluation Results: Declared within 2–3 weeks of application closure
➡️ Always check the official DHSE Kerala website for the latest updates.
